French Gendarmes try to find a weak point in a Swiss pike square |
Last Sunday we have played again the Battle of Novara, this time using James Roach's rules "Hell Broke Loose". Result was much more historical than the previous game with Swiss squares destroying the Landsknecht square and acting like a steam roller all over the table!
French Gendarmes did not succeded in being engaged actively in the battle (so like the Swiss light guns...). At the end the French finished their Army Morale Points and after some time an Army Morale Card ended the game.
Really fun for all the involved players and the umpire too!
